The New “Andromeda Strain” Adaptation

Saturday, June 21st, 2008

Michael Crichton has a good head on his shoulders with regards to environmentalism being a new religion.  The Sci-Fi Channel adaptation of “The Andromeda Strain” is completely hippie-environmentalist crap.  I’m embarassed to say that I’ve watched it.

However, being the DrunkenTech, I’ve consumed 5 glasses of wine during the course of this showing on A&E.

I’m embarassed to say, though, that it was 5 glasses of chardonnay.  Liberal white wine FTL.

Busy as all hell, but having some fun…

You’ll notice my lack of posting.

Actually, you won’t, because nobody really reads this site.

But anyways, I’ve just been busy planning a wedding (well, she’s been doing the hard work) and just getting settled in our new place.  I’ve not had my server running in over a month.  After having months of uptime, the G4 tower has not been booted since April.  Yes, that’s right.

I’m screwing with some more fun CHDK/dcraw goodies that may or may not make it into the public arena.  Rest assured that if they do, they will be Mac only, or only supported on other platforms by virtue of OS X being a nice POSIX-compliant OS.

I lied.  I don’t know anything about UNIX, really.  It’ll be Mac-only funness.
